How Does Enclomiphene Work?
Enclomiphene functions by blocking estrogen receptors. This blockage signals the body to increase the production of two key hormones: Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing Hormone (LH). These hormones are crucial in stimulating the testes to produce more testosterone naturally. Unlike other treatments that introduce testosterone from external sources, Enclomiphene encourages the body to ramp up its own production naturally.
Enclomiphene Solubility
One potential drawback is that enclomiphene has low solubility in some of the most commonly used solvents such as PEG (polyethylene glycol), PG (propylene glycol), and ethanol. However, enclomiphene has great solubility in DMSO, at > 500mg/ml.
